Local assembly secretariat represents a service element of the local assembly that is technically and operationally under and responsible to the chairman of the local assembly and administratively responsible to the local head through local secretary.

The main responsibility of the local assembly secretariat is to operate the administration of the secretary affairs, financial administration, to support the accomplishment of the tasks and the functions of the local assembly and to coordinate with experts as required by the local assembly based on the local financial capability.

In accomplishing its main responsibility, the local assembly secretariat functions to :

  1. Organize the administration of the local assembly,
  2. Organize the financial administration of the local assembly,
  3. Organize local assembly meetings,
  4. Provide and to coordinate the experts as required by the local assembly,
  5. Accomplish other tasks assigned by the local head in accordance with its task and function.

The local assembly secretariat consists of :

  1. The Assistant of Governmental Area 
    1. Government System Section consisting of:
  • Government System Subsection,
  • Local Autonomy Subsection, and
  • Land Affairs Building Subsection
  1. Law Section consisting of:
  • Regulation Subsection,
  • Legal Help Subsection, and
  • Legal Documentation Subsection.
  1. Organizational Section consisting of:
  • Institutional and Government Position Subsection, and
  • Management and Apparatus Performance Subsection.
  1. The Assistant of Economy and Development Areas
    1. Social and Economic Section consisting of:
  • Social Subsection,
  • People Economy Subsection, and
  • Local Production Subsection.
  1. Development Control Section consisting of:
  • Program Analysis Subsection, and
  • Evaluation and Reporting Subsection.
  1. Public Relation Section consisting of:
  • Information and Documentation Collection Subsection,
  • Press and Publication Subsection, and
  • Protocol Subsection.
  1. Administration and General Assistant
    1. General Section consisting of:
  • Administration and Finance Subsection,
  • Household Subsection, and
  • Official Travel Subsection.
  1. Finance Section consisting of:
  • Budget Subsection
  • Treasury Affairs and Accounting Subsection, and
  • Officer Expenditure Subsection.
  1. Book Keeping and Reporting Section consisting of:
  • Book Keeping Subsection,
  • Reporting Subsection, and
  • Verification Subsection.
  1. Equipment Section consisting of:
  • Need Analysis and Procurement Subsection,
  • Data Collection, Storing, Distribution, Maintenance and Removal Subsection, and
  • Code and Telecommunication Subsection.
